Workshop Outline
 
One of the significant challenges within schools is developing and growing leadership amongst staff so that schools can be not only effective but agile in addressing the ever changing landscape of education.

This workshop is the third of three workshops designed to provide an evidence-based viable framework for developing the capabilities of school leadership teams. This session explores the aspects to be responsible for as you coach and grow the capacity of your team to deliver on the agreed upon goals. Participants will explore how to build and/or restore trust, practice having difficult conversations and complete their action plan for their team goals. All participants will receive the support research and articles as well as post-session review notes.

 
Intentions

To explore how the what you need to provide as a leader depends on the situation and the person

To deepen our understanding of building trust in our relationships

To practice actively listening and empathising with people

To use the 13 behaviours of relationship trust to build our capacity to have “difficult conversations”

Adrian Bertolini

Adrian is the Founder & Director of Learning of Intuyu Consulting. He is one of Australia's foremost thought leaders on practical and real education that empowers and develops resilient, independent learners. Whilst his journey began as an engineer and Senior Lecturer in Aerospace Engineering at RMIT University, Adrian has worked across Australia, with students and teachers in primary, secondary and tertiary environments, to create authentic learning structures and experiences.
