How to Make a Mind?

Combining Critical and Creative Thinking; Mathematics; Biology; and Digital Technologies together in an integrated STEM project.

The goal of this joint Intuyu-CLWB workshop is to develop the understanding and critical thinking skills that not only support curriculum-based learning goals, but start to prepare children for a future where Artificial Intelligence will have significant impact on their lives.

Being held in QLD, VIC and WA, March 2018 the workshop is for secondary and upper primary teachers and senior leaders, especially those who’s responsibilities include STEM.

WHO IS THE FACILITATOR

Mike Lloyd, who made a brief appearance at the YES Conference in between other events around Australia, will be running two professional learning workshops for us – Integrating STEM and How to Make a Mind (about Artificial Intelligence)

Just a little about Mike

Before founding CLWB.org in 2012, Mike Lloyd had a long and distinguished career as a senior member of Microsoft’s Worldwide Education Group with a focus on Analytics – an experience which enabled him to work on technology projects in over 30 countries. With an engineering, teaching and business background, Mike’s experience spans the full spectrum of applied Science Technology Engineering and Maths (STEM) – from Mechanical Engineering to AI.

Mike’s company delivers modular STEM curriculum with content, learning kits and services in China, Australia, Singapore and UK.
